Heartlands

Heartlands
Heartlands is a community regeneration project funded by BIG Lottery, ERDF, Cornwall Council and other stakeholders run by an independent charitable trust. The project has transformed the former derelict mining site into a space for all ages to enjoy & use. Heartlands opened its doors in April 2012 and has seen well over half a million visitors in its first two years. A World Heritage Site Gateway, Heartlands allows visitors to experience a taste of Cornish mining heritage and provides signposting to other Cornish attractions where visitors can find out more. Discover this inspiring 19 acre cultural playground and find out how you can get involved at the Heartlands website.
