40th Anniversary

On 30th April 1985 the first meeting of Carn Brea Parish Council took place in St John's Ambulance Hall off Church Road, Pool. One of the Councillors present at that meeting was Cllr. Paul Holmes.

The Council celebrated the 40th Anniversary at the Annual Parish Meeting on Monday 14th April 2025 - Cllr. Holmes representing the original Council and Poppy Webber representing young people and our future cut the 40th Anniversary cake.
