Carn Brea Parish Council Speed Indicator Signs Data

The speed indicator signs are relocated every 4-6 weeks.

The data from each location is downloaded and is provided to Devon and Cornwall Police and Cornwall Highways for their review.

To date Devon and Cornwall Police Traffic Unit have conducted several enforcement sessions at locations within the Parish following the data we have provided.

Incoming Vehicles are the vehicles travelling towards the sign location and Outgoing Vehicles are the vehicles travelling away from the sign location.

The speed indicator radar takes 3 readings per vehicle and the data shown is the average of those 3 readings.

The following summary shows:

• Total Vehicles passing in both directions
• Volume of vehicles
• Percentage of vehicles recorded at various speeds
• Dates and Times of the highest speeds recorded
