Following the public consultation, the Masterplan for Moorfield Road Open Space has been agreed. The project will be delivered in two phases, with quotations now being sought for the work.
Moorfield Road Open Space is a valued green space beside the community hall. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the consultation survey and help shape the agreed proposals for its improvement.
Phase one will include the installation of an asphalt path, associated ground preparation for the new play area, and a temporary car park. Phase one is expected to be completed by the end of February 2027.
Phase two will include landscaping and planting within the open space, together with the provision and installation of play equipment and furniture. The completion date is to be confirmed.
