Nominations for Awards

Carn Brea Parish Council would welcome nominations for the following awards:

 

Clarence Coombe Memorial Award

The Council wishes to recognise outstanding achievements, by person or persons who have served Carn Brea Parish.

The Clarence Coombe Memorial Award is in memory of the late Clarence Coombe, a well-respected Councillor who served Carn Brea Parish for many years.

The award will be presented to a nominee, who has served in Carn Brea Parish and who has given lifelong service, performed a heroic deed, or attained individual achievement through work, study, conquest of illness or disability etc.

Marise Levenson Award

Carn Brea Parish Council wishes to recognise the contribution of young people to the community.

The Marise Levenson Memorial Award is in memory of the late Marise Levenson. The award will be presented to a young person up to the age of 17 who has served in Carn Brea Parish and who has contributed to the local community through charitable acts, altruistic caring acts or unrecognised achievements etc.


The proposal should be made in writing to the Clerk stating the award nominated for and reasons for the nominations.

All nominations should be received by 31st August 2021.
